I need to apologize for tonight - if you read further, you'll understand why. So, sorry, Kate, Julie, Skip, Deanie, Jeff and Dwight. Just wasn't feelin' it tonight.
It's okay not to feel like it--covering up how you were feeling would be even more frustrating. So don't feel the need to apologize: We've all been there!!!
Skip is right on Chris! If there is anything we can do let us know but we all understand - we've all felt distant from God. Sometimes it just feels like we are here and he is there and it is so hard to close the gap. We love you so much Chris!!!

But seriously folks -
Keep on keeping on Chris. God is there - He's there for ME, so He's gotta be there. Maybe He's just playing hide 'n' seek with ya? And don't worry about Sunday. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I'd prefer that you came with your REAL face on - angry, sad, lost, goofy, grouchy, whatever.
